After a coworker learned about the $200 per year Amex Airline Fee Credit, he wanted to look for nonstop flights from his home airport to see which airline he should select as his airline of choice and to find an interesting destination to use the $200 in airline giftcards.

I showed him the best place to look for nonstop flights from certain airports is actually wikipedia.  Just do a search for your hometown airport and pull up it’s wiki page.  Scroll down until you see the ‘Airlines and destinations’ section (#4 in example below).

4 Airlines and destinations

Wikipedia lists every airline that flies to this airport and all of the nonstop destinations.  Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to downtown Washington DC and is mainly served by American Airlines.

I’m lucky that I live less than 1 hour away from 3 major airports – in addition to Reagan National Airport, Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) and Washington Dulles International (IAD) airports are easily accessible.

Dulles airport has by far the most international destinations of the three and can you guess which airline flies the most out of Baltimore-Washington (BWI) by looking at it’s wiki page below?

Hopefully you said Southwest!
